Client Overview
Maison Margaux is owned and operated by Chef David Fhima and the Fhima family. Maison Margaux is referred to as “Paris in the North Loop. On the mission page, the Fhima family made a promise to the community and city to do things differently. By emphasizing their family roots, honoring historic ground, and partnering with their amazing and diverse community, they strive to achieve this promise.
The cuisine follows Chef Fhimas’ French culinary training in some of the country’s most iconic French restaurants, offering a modern twist on Parisian café dining.
Our Objectives
The Fhima family has a knack for creating visionary experiences in historic spaces that are dying for revitalization. In the case of Maison Margaux, the project required total revitalization. The mission was to bring life back into the historic Ribnick Furs building which is just across the street from Chef Gavin’s Spoon & Stable. The opening of Maison Margaux would offer another option on a block of lively, brilliant Chef-driven options for local nightlife. Our objective was to showcase that lifestyle and welcome potential guests into the space upon opening the website. Mission accomplished.
“Taking up residence in the North Loop‘s historic Ribnick Furs building, Maison Margaux is equal parts French brasserie, curated event center, and sultry subterranean speakeasy.”

Say It In Pictures
The team at Maison Margaux is all about visuals. They believe that their selling point is the creations that they pour their lives into and the service that gets delivered and spoken to at the table. There’s no better way to invite a guest into their world, than to unfold it online and allow them to book an experience.

Brand Strategy
While the Fhima’s consistently pour incredible creative energy and details into their restaurant spaces, menus, and bar/wine programs, they always believe that simplicity and great use of “white space” online is the way to curious patronizing customers. Chef Fhima and family have accolades and experience that could fill a book, but they choose to let the diner’s experience speak for itself, which in turn fills the restaurant spaces.
At Maison Margaux, you’re welcomed into a French Brasserie upon walking in the door. The space, bustling with energy and aromas invites you further into their tantalizing bar. But then, you can go further, down the stairs that split the dining space visually, only to descend into a plush, sexy speakeasy that boasts one of the state’s largest wine selections. You’re literally sitting in a wine cellar. The brand strategy was to follow the layout of the physical space with visuals and menu offerings.
